Begin with a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, founded in the 11th
century. Discover the cultural and historical significance of this iconic site, which is home to
ancient architecture and peaceful gardens that offer a glimpse into Vietnam’s intellectual past.
Next, head to the Hoa Lo Prison Museum (also known as the “Hanoi Hilton”), where you will
learn about the stories of political prisoners and U.S. POWs. This prison, originally built by the
French colonists and later used by North Vietnam during the Vietnam War, provides a powerful
narrative of the struggles and resilience of those held within its walls.

World Heritage site since 1994, famous for its nearly 3,000 rocky islets. The journey takes
approximately three to four hours depending on traffic, and you'll travel in a shared, air-
conditioned bus through the scenic Red River Delta, one of Vietnam's key agricultural regions.
Upon arrival in Halong Bay, embark on a boat cruise to explore the stunning limestone
formations. A seafood lunch will be served on board, allowing you to enjoy fresh, traditional
dishes while sailing through the bay. You'll pass by several iconic formations, including Surprising
Cave (with a chance to disembark and explore), Pelican Grotto, Chopstick Rock, Butterfly Rock,
Turtle Rock, the Island of Fishman’s Head, The Fighting Cocks, The Sail, The Urn, and the Sea Dog.
